  • On the reverse side of each coin is a unique design.

Standard US Mint Proof sets began production in 1936 and are still issued on an annual basis. These sets offer collectors an affordable way to obtain proof coins and make for great collectibles thanks to their beautiful mint packaging. In 1970, the United States decided to produce a special set of bicentennial coins in honor of the upcoming 200th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Once the commemorative designs were agreed upon, the coins went into circulation from July 1975 until December 1976. As a result, the 1975 proof collection contains all three bicentennial designs, making it an outlier among the US Mint proof sets.

All 1975 US Mint Sets contain six coins in total, each with a stunning proof finish. When you examine these coins, you will appreciate their remarkable mirrored fields and frosted devices. For display purposes, these coins will arrive in an elegant plastic case with separate spaces for each coin. The backdrop consists of a red velvet lining, which contrasts beautifully with the proof silver.

A different presidential portrait is found on the obverse of each coin in these US Mint Proof Sets. On the bicentennial issues, the dollar showcases Dwight D. Eisenhower, while the half-dollar depicts John F. Kennedy and the quarter George Washington. For the standard coins, the dime contains a portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the nickel Thomas Jefferson, and the penny Abraham Lincoln.

Separate designs feature on the reverse fields of each coin in the 1975 Proof Sets. The Eisenhower dollar reveals the Liberty Bell against the moon, the half-dollar a rendition of Independence Hall, and the quarter a colonial drummer. On the reverse of the Roosevelt dime, you will see a torch with an olive and oak branch. The nickel showcases Jefferson’s Monticello home, and the penny the Lincoln Memorial.

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
