With the release of the 2016 Gold American Centennial Coins from the United States Mint, the number of 24-karat gold coins from the mint has more than doubled. Prior to the release of these coins, only two coins in US Mint history featured .9999 pure gold. Today, the 2017 1/4 oz Gold American Standing Liberty Quarter Coin is available as a perfect specimen from Silver.com.

The Gold American Centennial Coin series was introduced in early 2016 with the Mercury Dime Gold coin, and continues with this Standing Liberty Quarter Gold coin. The program is a planned three-coin series commemorating the three iconic coin designs released by the United States Mint 1916.

Each of the coins in the Gold American Centennial Coin series features 24-karat gold, and the individual coins have weights indicative of their original inspiration. For example, the Standing Liberty Quarter bears a face value of $.25 (USD) and has a weight of one-quarter troy ounce.

The 2016 1/4 oz Gold American Standing Liberty Quarter Coin in this listing has a perfect SP70 grade from the NGC. Coins in this condition exhibit full, original mint luster, bear no detracting flaws of any kind, and have a mirrored finish. Early Release coins are those received for grading by the NGC within the opening 30-day window following the US Mint’s release date for the coin.

On the obverse face is the image of Standing Liberty, created in 1916 by Hermon Atkins MacNeil. The reverse side of the 2016 1/4 oz Gold American Standing Liberty Quarter Coin features the image of an American bald eagle in flight with its wings spread wide. Additional engravings added to this face of the coin identify the metal content, purity, and weight of the coin.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
