Each 2016 5 oz Silver ATB Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Coin in this listing is in near-perfect condition according to the NGC. Coins with an MS69 grade exhibit full, original mint luster and include a minimum of two minor detracting flaws on the surface areas of the coin. These include minor hairlines or miniscule contact marks.
The DPL designation stands for deeply-mirrored, proof-like finish. Though these are bullion coins, they have proof-like matte appearances as well as deeply-mirrored segments that reflect the typical features of a proof coin.
On the obverse of all America the Beautiful quarters is the left-profile portrait of President George Washington, leader of the Continental Army during the American Revolution and first elected President of the United States.
The reverse of the coin includes the image of John Brown’s Fort, which is actually an old firehouse at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The firehouse was used by John Brown and fellow secessionists before the Civil War in an attempted takeover of the federal arms depot at Harpers Ferry.
