Gold South Korean Tiger Medals are part of one of the largest bullion issues from KOMSCO each year. The popular South Korean Tiger Medals were first released in 2016, the same year as the Chiwoo Cheonwang Medals, and feature both silver and gold bullion for sale. Today, 2019 1/10 oz Gold South Korean Tiger Medals are available to you online at Silver.com.

Medal Highlights:

  • Available to ship to you inside of protective assay cards with the red label!
  • Fourth year for the 1/10 oz Gold South Korean Tiger!
  • Mintage limited to 3,000 medals only!
  • Consists of One-Tenth Troy ounce of .999 pure gold in BU condition.
  • On the obverse side of a tiger ripping through the design field visuals.
  • The reverse field includes the image of the Korean peninsula in a stylized design.

South Koren Tiger medals are available annually in gold and silver. The gold bullion options include the popular 1 oz and 1/10 oz gold medals available since 2016, as well as more recent silver medals. The silver medals debuted in 2018 and feature 1 oz and 10 oz options for investors. There is also a silver proof version of the South Korean Tiger Medal.

All of the 2019 1/10 oz Gold South Korean Tiger Medals in this product listing are available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The medals are individually packaged inside of protective assay cards that include an individual serial number, the weight, purity, and metal content of the medal.

KOMSCO has limited the 2019 1/10 oz Gold Tiger Medal to just 3,000 in total. However, the series has been split evenly between two different assay card labels. These red labels represent half of the mintage at just 1,500 gold medals, with the remaining 1,500 gold medals packaged inside of blue assay cards.

On the obverse of 2019 1/10 oz Gold South Korean Tiger Medals, you will find the image of a Siberian tiger. This species of tiger is the largest living today and once roamed from Siberia through Mongolia and China to the southern tip of the Korean peninsula. However, it is no longer found outside of the Russian Far East and Northeast China. This design depicts a ferocious tiger in the background with its paw and claws gouging the design field.

The reverse side of 2019 Gold South Korean Tiger Medals includes a design of the Korean peninsula. This design does not feature geopolitical boundaries or geographic elements. Instead, you will only find the shape of the peninsula formed by the letters of the Korean alphabet, known as the Hangul.
