The gold for sale in the Zi:Sin Series from KOMSCO boasts much lower mintage figures than its silver bullion counterparts. For example, the Zi:Sin Scrofa Silver Medals have a mintage of 40,000 compared to just 1,300 for the gold medal. The distinctive Scrofa Ghost Gold Medal release has an even lower mintage figure that is dwarfed by all others and highly collectible as a result. Today, 2019 1 oz Gold South Korean Zi:Sin Scrofa Ghost Medals are available to you online at Silver.com.

Medal Highlights:

  • Available to ship inside of individual protective plastic capsules!
  • Third medal design in the Zi:Sin Series!
  • Mintage limited to only 300 medals!
  • Consists of One Troy ounce of .999 fine gold in BU condition.
  • Obverse features the shield of Chiwoo Cheonwang with do ggae bi’s face.
  • The reverse includes the image of Scrofa and her ghost figure.

The Zi:Sin Series of silver medals are typically capped at 40,000 and limited to one design per year. The Zi:Sin Series gold medals have lower mintage figures. The 2019 Scrofa Ghost Gold Medal is capped at 1,300 medals compared to the silver bullion option. With a low figure of just 300, this alternate design choice in the Zi:Sin Series is sure to go fast.

All 2019 1 oz Gold South Korean Zi:Sin Scrofa Ghost Medals are available to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The medals are housed inside of individual protective plastic capsules. Typically, KOMSCO issues just one design per calendar year in this collection. However, in a nod to Scrofa’s unique abilities as one of the 12 Guardians, KOMSCO issued two designs for her appearance in the series.

The reverse of 2019 Gold South Korean Zi:Sin Scrofa Ghost Medals includes the alternate design available in the 2019 date mark. The design includes the primary design element of Scrofa standing along the shores of the Salt Lake. She has her military dress on and sword drawn as she readies herself to defend the mortal world.

However, there is an additional element in this special release that serves as a nod to her most impressive power. While she has heightened senses that allow her to detect her enemies from afar, she also has the power to duplicate herself to confuse the enemy during the fight. This side of the medal features a “ghost” figure behind her reflective of that power.

On the obverse of 2019 1 oz Gold South Korean Zi:Sin Scrofa Ghost Medals is the image of do ggae bi on the shield of Chiwoo Cheonwang. The God of War always carried this shield into battle and used the grotesque figure’s face to frighten his enemies.
