Proof Silver American Eagle Coins are distinct from their bullion counterparts both visually and in terms of availability. The standard proof coins have frosted design elements and mirrored fields. Additionally, the Proof Silver Eagle is available with much lower mintage figures than the bullion. The US Mint has maintained various, changing mintage caps at different points in time since the 1986 introduction of the coin.

All 2019-W 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle Coins here are available as near-perfect coins according to the PCGS. Coins with a PR69 certification have full, original mint luster with a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. The only acceptable flaws at this certification level are minuscule hairlines or contact marks found only outside of the primary focal areas.

The included First Strike designation indicates the timing of the coin’s arrival at the PCGS for grading. Coins must arrive within the first 30 days following the US Mint’s release of 2019 Proof Silver Eagles.

On the obverse of 2019 Proof Silver American Eagle Coins is the image of Walking Liberty. This design was first created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman for use on the nation’s circulation half-dollar coin. It depicts Liberty walking toward the sun on the horizon with one hand outstretched and the American flag over her shoulders.

The reverse of 2019-W 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle coins features the image of the nation’s heraldic shield and the official symbol of the US: the bald eagle. This design is known as the heraldic eagle of the United States and depicts an American bald eagle behind the national shield clutching arrows and an olive branch in its talons.
