Proof Silver American Eagles have been issued by the United States Mint since 1986. The coins hit an all-time high for mintage in the very first year of availability, something that is typical of proof coins as the most collected date mark is traditionally the first coin in the series. The next closest release was the 2006 20th-anniversary release of the collection.

All of the 2019-W 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagles in this product listing are available to you with perfect certifications. PR70 coins have full, original mint luster and no detracting flaws of any kind present on the design elements or surface areas. The included DCAM label stands for a deep-cameo specimen. Coins with this label have strong, frosted design elements overlaying deeply-mirrored, clear background fields.

On the obverse side of the 2019-W 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle is an image of Walking Liberty. This left-profile bust of Liberty captures her figure walking from right to left across the design field with the American flag draped over her shoulders, her right hand reaching out for the sun on the horizon, and branches of oak and laurel in her left hand.

The reverse of all 2019-W Proof Silver American Eagles includes the heraldic eagle of the United States. The oldest American coin design, the image features the American bald eagle with the US national shield on its chest. The bird clutches the olive branch of peace in one talon and the arrows of war in the other. There is also a triangular cluster of 13 stars above its head.
