The United States Mint has produced the Silver Eagles at three of its four modern branch mint locations. The mints only coin the Silver Eagle at the same time when the US Mint experiences unprecedented demand for its silver bullion coin. Such an event occurred in 2020 as a global pandemic and crashing market led more investors to silver. Now, 2020 (P) 1 oz Silver American Eagles are available to you for purchase online at Silver.com in near-perfect condition.

As a global pandemic rampaged around the globe in February and March 2020, global stock markets began to feel the effects and shed trillions of dollars in value. The result was a massive uptick in demand for the 2020 Silver American Eagle. Within two weeks of the markets in the United States beginning to suffer the effects of the pandemic, the West Point Mint announced a sellout of its on-hand 2020 Silver Eagles.
The West Point Mint resumed coining of fresh 2020 Silver Eagles, but the pandemic forced the mint to reduce staff numbers at the mint to protect employees. This hampered coining capacity and was followed by a total closure of the West Point Mint from April 15 to April 21, 2020. During this period, the Philadelphia Mint was pressed into service coining 2020 Silver American Eagles from April 8 to April 20, 2020. The result was an emergency issue of 240,000 coins in the 2020 Silver Eagle release packaged in Monster Boxes at the Philadelphia Mint.
The obverse of 2020 (P) 1 oz Silver American Eagles includes Walking Liberty. She is featured in left-profile relief with her right hand reaching for the sun on the horizon, her left hand carrying branches of oak and laurel, and the American flag over her shoulders. On the reverse side of 2020 (P) 1 oz Silver Eagles is the heraldic eagle of the United States.
These 2020 (P) 1 oz Silver American Eagles are available to you in near-perfect condition. Mint State 69 coins have full, original mint luster with no more than two detracting flaws present. Examples of acceptable flaws include minuscule contact marks or hairlines only. The Early Release label means the coins were received within 30 days of the release from the Philadelphia Mint. These coins do not have Philadelphia Mint mint marks, but did come from Monster Boxes with serial numbers linked to the mint.
