There is no more popular option for those buying silver from the Germania Mint than the Germania Series. While the mint offers other popular collections, Germania is the focal point of the mint’s design collections, appearing in both a dedicated series and in The Allegories Series that pairs her effigy with other famous female allegories. Today, 2021 10 oz Silver Germania Rounds are available to you online at Silver.com.

Round Highlights:

  • Available to ship you in protective blisterpacks with a Certificate of Authenticity!
  • Third issue of the Silver Germania Series!
  • Mintage limited to 1,000 rounds only!
  • Consists of Ten Troy ounces of .9999 fine silver.
  • The nominal value is 50 Mark.
  • On the obverse side of an effigy of Germania leading the way from the bow of a ship.
  • The reverse side offers the bicephalous eagle of the Germania Mint.

The Germania Series was among the first collections offered from the Germania Mint. It debuted in 2019 alongside The Allegories Series and the Mythical Forest Series. Today, the Germania Series continues to grow, expanding its silver BU options from one round in 2019 to a total of four different rounds in 2021.

All of these 2021 10 oz Silver Germania Rounds are available brand new from the Germania Mint. The silver rounds in this series are available to ship inside blisterpacks with an included Certificate of Authenticity. Newly introduced to series in 2021, the 10 oz silver round in the Germania Series comes with a mintage of just 1,000 rounds, far less than the 25,000 rounds in the 1 oz silver weight and just ahead of the 100 rounds in the 1 kilogram round.

On the obverse side of 2021 Silver Germania Rounds is a new vision of Germania. Leading her people forward into an unknown future, Germania is ready for whatever may come. She leads from the bow of a ship with the imperial sword, the Reichsschwert, in her right hand and carries a banner in her left hand. She is wearing her traditional armor and the oak laurel wreath, a symbol of strength.

The reverse field of the 2021 10 oz Silver Germania Rounds comes with a symbol of the Germania Mint. The design element depicts a double-headed eagle, a popular figure from ancient heraldry. The symbolism of the two-headed eagle is significant in the longevity of an empire as one head looks to the past, while the other head looks to the future. In this design, the eagle clutches two lightning bolts in its talons, each of which is tipped by arrowheads.
