On the obverse of 2021 Silver Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Hades Coins is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. In this right-profile relief, Her Majesty is depicted wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. This design was first created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley for the Royal Mint and it has since been used on coins from Perth Mint, the New Zealand Mint, and countless other locations striking bullion coins for Commonwealth Nations.

The reverse side of the 2021 5 oz Silver Tuvalu Hades Coin comes with a depiction of the God of the Underworld and Ruler of the Dead. Hades is the brother of Poseidon and Zeus. He successfully partnered with his brothers to defeat their parents, the Titans, for control of the world, but was banished to the realm of the Underworld by his two brothers.
