The obverse faces of these coins showcase the image of two Giant Pandas sliding down a snow-covered hill. You can see a slide behind the two pandas, and a set of skis can be seen in the foreground. Each coin’s design is the same, but the colorization makes them unique.
On the 2022 30 Gram Silver Chinese Panda Day Coin, the sun shines in the clear blue sky. Both the skis and the year of mintage are a bright, sunny yellow color, and the snow on the hill is bright. In the Night version, the sky is a midnight blue, and the moon shines brightly in the sky. The pandas and the snow are both shadowy. The same midnight blue is used for the year of mintage and the set of skis.
The Temple of Heaven is shown on the reverse. This design doesn’t contain any colorization. The Temple of Heaven is home to the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, and the building is one of the most well-known in all of China. It is located in Beijing. Around the design, there are engravings for the year of mint and nation of issue.
