In this listing, we are thrilled to offer our customers the latest Silver Eagle in a protective Congratulations-themed card. If you have a friend or family member who is celebrating an important achievement, these could be a great gift in recognition of their accomplishment. Right now, 2023 1 oz Silver American Eagle Coins are available to purchase online at Silver.com.

  • 38th year of issue for the Silver Eagle!
  • Contains One Troy ounce of .999 fine silver in BU condition.
  • Bears a face value of $1 (USD) backed by the federal government.
  • The obverse features Walking Liberty.
  • On the reverse side, a bald eagle is shown.

Each of these 2023 1 oz American Eagle Coins was struck at the U.S. Mint and is considered legal tender by the United States government. The coins consist of fine silver and are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. As such, few, if any, flaws will be visible on their surfaces. Upon arrival, you will find your coin housed in a protective clamshell card that features the word Congratulations in festive lettering.

On the obverse of 2023 Silver American Eagle Coins, you will find Walking Liberty. As designed by Adolph Weinman, we see Lady Liberty walking gracefully towards the left, her right arm extended. The sun is seen rising in the background, signaling a new day and a bright future. This obverse design originally debuted in 1916 on the Half-Dollar and has been used on the Silver Eagle coins since 1986. The obverse also contains inscriptions reading 2023, Liberty, In God We Trust.

The reverse side of 2023 American Eagle Coins features a bald eagle carrying an oak branch. The eagle has its wings outstretched and appears to be heading downward. This design debuted in 2021 and is credited to Emily Damstra. Inscriptions on the reverse are also featured that read United States of America, E Pluribus Unum, One Dollar, and 1 oz Fine Silver.

In 1986, the United States began minting a silver and gold version of the American Eagle. Both coins received considerable acclaim and have been issued on an annual basis every year since. The Silver Eagle has maintained the same obverse Walking Liberty design since the program’s inception. However, the reverse design was updated in 2021 for the coin’s 35th anniversary.

We also never have access to your credit/debit card details, as they are securely communicated directly to the payment processor (Authorize.net) and never retained by Silver.com. For this reason, we also don't process credit/debit card orders over the phone, as it is the least secure way to process those transactions.

In addition, all VISA and MasterCard orders undergo an additional step of user authentication - the respective Verified by VISA or MasterCard SecureCode programs. Upon completing checkout with a VISA or MasterCard credit/debit card, you may be promoted for additional details to confirm your identity and protect our customers against credit card fraud.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
