Argor-Heraeus is a global leader in the precious metals industry trusted to deliver the highest-quality in its gold, silver, platinum, and palladium bars. Its primary service includes producing minted ingots for banks and traders, but it also produces cast gold bars and other forms of precious metal products. Now, 250 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Cast Bars are available to you for purchase online at Silver.com.

Bar Highlights:

  • Bars ship to you wrapped in protective packaging materials within a shipping box!
  • Impressive gold cast bars!
  • Unique serial numbers!
  • Consists of 250 Grams, or 8.037 Troy ounce, of .9999 fine gold.
  • The obverse features the logo of Argor-Heraeus and the weight, metal content, and purity of the bar.
  • Reverse field is blank.

When you purchase gold cast bars, you will find that cast products are more affordable at any given weight than a minted ingot. The primary reason for this is the amount of effort that goes into producing cast bars compared to minted ingots. A gold cast bar consists of gold that was melted and then poured into a preformed mold. The gold is left to cool and set in the mold, and simple markings are stamped into its surface.

Minted ingots, on the other hand, start as simple cast bars and are stamped into more refined shapes. 3D designs are engraved onto the surface of the bars during the production process. Unlike cast bars, minted ingots typically have design elements on both sides. The result is a higher premium for a minted ingot, making cast gold bars ideal for investors looking to diversify their gold holdings.

The obverse side of the 250 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Cast Bar features all of the inscriptions you will find on these products. At the top of the bar’s design field is the Argor-Heraeus logo. This logo consists of a small circle with “AH” initials inside and the full name of the mint in a ring around the circle. The next inscriptions on this side include the nation of issue, the weight, the metal content, and the purity of the bar. Near the bottom of the design field is the assayer’s mark and a unique serial number. Serial numbers in this series are assigned using a one-letter, five-number coding system.

On the reverse face of the 250 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Cast Bar is a blank field. Design markings on gold cast bars are struck incuse into the surface of the product, rather than being engraved onto the surface in 3D relief.

These 250 Gram Gold Argor-Heraeus Cast Bars are available to you at Silver.com in brand-new condition. Cast bars of this size are not offered with packaging options from the mint, but at Silver.com we will wrap the bar inside protective packaging materials for safe shipping inside of a standard shipping box. The bars do come with an assay card to authenticate the weight, metal content, purity, and serial number of the bar.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
