Silver bullion bars come in various shapes and sizes depending on the refinery you typically shop with. Geiger Edelmetalle brings great diversity to its portoflio with the Geiger Original Series. These silver and gold bars are refined as square bars, and made available in a variety of weights that range from a tiny 1 Gram bar up to a massive 5 kilogram. The silver range offers the greatest diversity at 1 Gram to 5 kilogram, while the gold bars are offered in weights from the low end at 1 Gram to a maximum weight of 1 kilogram.
On the obverse of the 500 Gram Silver Geiger Square Bar is the image of Schloss Guldengossa, the 18th century Baroque castle constructed outside of Leipzig, Germany that Geiger Edelmetalle now calls home. The castle is featured on countless silver bar programs from the refinery, but this bar captures the castle’s facade with a stunning pearl finish to the surface for added security layers against counterfeiters. Also featured on this side are the engraving of the refinery name and the bar’s weight, purity, and metal content.
The reverse of all Geiger Square Bars includes the repeating design of the LEV rhombus logo developed by Geiger Edelemtalle for its products. You’ll also find a unique serial number on each bar encoded in a one-letter, seven-number digit system. A UV coating applied to this side of the bar is visible only under black light and highlights a central LEV rhombus design not visible to the naked eye, while also revealing a UV coating on the bar’s serial number. Each bar also comes with a ribbed edge similar to bullion coins for added security against counterfeiting.
Geiger Edelmetalle was founded outside of Leipzig, Germany in 1218. The Saxony region of Germany has been producing silver for more than a thousand years, with Geiger Edelmetalle at the heart of that production for 800 years now.
